A solo concert in Seoul by the Nepalese band Nepathya. Formed in 1991 and celebrating their 35th anniversary this year, the band consists of vocalist/leader Amrit Gurung and six session artists, performing folk rock and world music. They have combined indigenous folk songs and dialects collected from across Nepal with modern rock and pop sounds, and during the civil war, they gained the empathy of all generations with music conveying messages of anti-war, peace, and harmony. They were the first Nepalese artists to successfully perform at Wembley Arena and O2 Brixton Academy in the UK, and their representative songs include 'Resham' (2001), 'Taal Ko Pani' (2003), and 'Yo Jindagani' (2001).
